First United Methodist Church invites everyone in Menard to a time of prayer, beginning at 6:00 p.m. each Tuesday, in the sanctuary of the church.
We have been meeting for a month or so and want to share this time with all who would come. Jesus prayed over and over. He prayed over every decision. He prayed for the sick, for the ones burdened and without hope. He prayed for those tormented with sin and the ones hungry and poor. He prayed for peace, for peace in the storms.
He gave us, his people, The Lord’s prayer as our way to pray. So come join us. We will give an hour each Tuesday to prayer. All are welcome. Louise Whitson will lead us in song and Suzanne Brantley will help us to pray. Don’t forget- see you Tuesday.

We have heard reports the last few days that the Biden Administration has announced that they will be sending people door to door to ask if the residents have been vaccinated for the Covid 19 virus. It certainly seems that those in power are determined to vaccinate as many people as possible. While we have been told that these vaccinations are for our own good, there are a number of troubling truths that would cause us to question if this is true and if not, why are we being bombarded with messages that we must receive the “jab.” Let us consider the following:
1. The “vaccine” is not a true vaccine, but rather a “gene therapy.”
2. None of the vaccines have been approved by the FDA for general use, only for experimental purposes.
3. Although this is not widely reported, Bill Gates, who has financial interest in the development and sale of the “vaccines” stated publically that he expected to make over 200 billion dollars on this vaccine program.
4. Adverse reactions to Covid 19 “vaccines” far exceed any other experimental treatment and have resulted in death, permanent injury and even infertility.
5. Numerous miscarriages have been caused by the vaccine.
When we recognize the enormous economic benefit the vaccine program is to pharmaceutical companies and their stockholders like Bill Gates in addition to the under-reported problems with the treatments themselves; we need to ask ourselves why there is such an urgent push for everyone to be vaccinated. Who is benefitting financially? Why have these “treatments” not been pulled off of the market because of the adverse effects like other “vaccine?” Certainly, we need to consider these points, but most importantly, we need to do our own research and decide for ourselves if “taking the jab” is right for us. What we do not need is a knock on the door from the Administration!
