San Saba River Growers, Menard’s only local garden center/florist/resale/plant/ gift store will be closing up shop soon. Owner and operator Kathy Ryan is ready to retire, and made the decision recently.
The shop, located at the “Triangle” just north of the bridge in Menard, will officially close at the end of November.
Ryan is currently offering 50% off items, and as closing time gets closer, there will be steeper discounts on plants, resale furniture, and more to disperse inventory.
Kathy will still be able to provide locals with special order trees, plants, sod, and more after the closure; simply call for larger landscaping jobs.
