    After the recent rise in crime in Menard County, hundreds of citizens took part in a Menard Community Town Hall by attending in person or watching via Facebook Live.

    One of the takeaways from the meeting was that our Sheriff’s Department is lacking resources, both man power and equipment. While citizens can do little to divert manpower from the border crisis or add to our current force, we can help…
