The Texas Ramps Project is coming to help build a ramp in Menard on Saturday, September 18th. The regional Coordinator Robert Newman will on site to help Menard get its first ramp built. The Texas Ramps Project provides materials and training for local volunteers to complete projects. The Ramps must be built to the standards established by the Texas Ramps Project. Some sections are prebuilt to save on time on scene.
Ramp builds are referred to this group through Medical and Assistance programs. Cases are handled on a priority basis. The first Menard project will begin at 9:00 a.m. at 400 Bowie Street.
The project Saturday will be focused on training and be led by local Mission Team Leader Brandon Corbin.
Please join us in the project to help with access for people in our community. Anyone can attend and help. The Menard Mission Team will help Lead and provide support to get these projects moving. Please let us know if you can attend- we need a great turnout.
