The Boys and Girls Club of Menard presented a Teen Employee Senior Scholarship to MHS senior Jailah Payton last Friday, for her outstanding service to the club. The Advisory Board raised $2,000 to help send Jailah to the University of Alaska at Anchorage, where she will pursue a career in nursing. GOOD TIMES WERE HAD Friday evening at Menard Public Library's annual Party at the Presidio fundraiser held adjacent to the historic Presidio de San Saba. Andrew Roll captured some great aerial shots of the production as the sun set and the party of about 350 guests stirred to life.
