Menard County Sheriff’s Office Weekly Report

RIGHT- MCSO Deputy Dorothy Baker enjoys the beautiful weather Tuesday night at the Menard County National Night Out, held on the courthouse lawn/American Legion Park. The event is annual and nation-wide, and allows local residents a chance to get to know an interact with law enforcement and first responders. Chamber photo.

Benny Fred and Cordelia Kothmann recently took grandson George Corbin, center, to a Buffalo Bills football game in New York. George’s mom Valera (Kothmann) Corbin also attended, and of course they dutifully brought along a copy of The Menard News. Cordelia reports TMN was also taken internationally into Canada; however, they were having so much fun they forgot to get a photo. Thanks for including us, Kothmanns and Corbins!
