Menard HS baseball has succesful fundraiser

Menard High School Baseball coach Will Barker has been working hard to raise money for the team. Specifically, funds will go toward a new scoreboard at the baseball field.

The MHS field does not currently have a working scoreboard, which can cause frustration during play.

This past weekend, a benefit fundraiser was held. Eight teams competed in the co-ed softball tournament.

Breakfast tacos and later brisket plates were sold, also going toward the team fund.

Coach Barker reports that the event was successful, and he was pleased with the money raised.
