Last Saturday morning was wonderfully cool and pleasant on Waddell Lane, perfect for the official dedication of Waddell Cemetery as Menard County’s second Historic Texas Cemetery. Prior to then, Pioneer Rest was our only historic cemetery recognized as such by the State of Texas.
