Ronald Wayne Low passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, surrounded by his three children, Justin, Kimberly, and Casey, and his two daughters- in-law, Esther, and Kristen.
Whether you called him Ron, Ronnie, Ralph, Daddy, or Alpo, you knew he had the giant heart and love for animals of his mother, Mary Low, and the sharp wit and humor of his father, Samuel Richard Low, both of whom he joins in Heaven.
Ronald was an exceptionally smart and hard-working man, who began managing a gas station before being old enough to drive (although he still drove), to working as a welder in oil fields across the country. While married to his first wife, Joan, Ronald was saved in 1974 in the name of Jesus, who repeatedly saved him from so many accidents and near-death experiences all-too common to his work. Ronald responded by graciously and selflessly helping so many struggling souls over decades. Ronald lovingly took care of his second wife, Rosetta, until she succumbed to cancer. He constantly bragged on his family while consistently understating himself. Ronald is also survived by his two brothers, Donald and Chester, his sister, Suzy Low Kline, sister-in-law Ola Faye Low, brother-in-law Roland Kline, his five granddaughters, Randi, Sarah, Samantha, Annabelle, and Emerson, his great granddaughter, Rylan and his great grandson, Asher. Ronald lived 80 years to the fullest. On June 3 he was buried near his parents in Rest Haven Cemetery in Menard, Texas where he grew up. He is already so greatly missed.
Pallbearers will be Casey Low, Justin Low, Ben Low, Robert Kilchenstein, James Poor, and Steve Ramos.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Heritage Funeral Home of Menard.
