Since its founding in late 2023, the Beautification of Menard organization (BOM), has focused on their mission to encourage, cultivate, and sustain the beauty and culture of Menard County. The registered 501(c)(3) has hosted numerous projects and events including workdays within the community, annual Christmas Decoration Contest, and the free Summer Movie Nights in the park.
