Pauline “Polly” Reeves, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on November 7, 2024, at the nursing home in Menard, Texas. Born July 18, 1947, in Fort Worth, Texas, Polly spent her life dedicated to her family, her community, and the simple joys of life.
Polly served as a Menard County Clerk, a role in which she became known for her kindness, dedication, and meticulous attention to detail. But beyond her work, she found her greatest joys in caring for others. A devoted cook, she filled her family’s lives with warmth and comfort through countless homemade meals, each one prepared with love. Her garden was a sanctuary where she cultivated not only flowers and vegetables but also memories with those who she held dear.
Polly’s legacy is one of love, patience, and unwavering strength. She will be deeply missed by all who were touched by her kindness, especially her family, who carry forward the values she instilled in them. Polly did not wish to have a memorial service, but her memory will forever be cherished in the hearts of those she loved.
