The Menard High School baseball team braved the cold, wet weather on Saturday, November 19 from 10 a.m.-1:00 p.m. selling whole briskets, brisket and sausage by the pound, and your choice of brisket or sausage wrapped in a fresh tortilla. The baseball boys sold out of 19 donated briskets (donated by various individuals) and sausage donated by Ranch House Meats. The funds raised will go towards renovations and improvements to the existing batting cages which will benefit not only the high school baseball and softball teams, but pony and youth leagues, as well.
