Congratulations and good luck wishes are in order for Menard’s Yellowjacket marching band. The group had top scores at the regional contest, advancing them to the state contest for the 4th time in 5 years. Of those previous trips the band has won 2 gold medals and a bronze, and look to add to that tally on Tuesday, Nov. 11. Details for attending or streaming the contest will be released soon.

FIELDS OF FAITH- About 40 Menard student athletes attended the annual Fields of Faith gathering in San Angelo last week. Several speakers and a worship band gave thousands of Concho Valley student athletes the opportunity to come together for a night of fellowship and worship underneath the stadium lights.
