    As a service to the public, Menard County 4-H spent a couple hours each Monday in June collecting paper feedsacks for recycling.

    With current drought conditions keeping the burn ban instated, feedsacks had been piling up for some ranchers.

    Over 2,000 paper feedsacks were collected and taken to BRI Recycling in San Angelo.
