    Brown earns first chair All-State Band for 2nd year in a row

    Menard High School junior Roy Brown has earned top honors once again, being named first chair French horn in the Association of Texas Small School Bands (ATSSB) All-State Band auditions last week.

    Brown is a Drum Major for Menard’s Class 1A State Champion Marching Band. Band director is Lynsey Gold. Roy is the son of Michael and Lisa Brown.
