Outdoor burning within the city limits is always prohibited
As of Friday, September 15, under the authority of Menard County Judge Brandon Corbin, the county- wide burn ban has been lifted.
Parts of the county have reported up to 3 inches of rain since last Tuesday, which prompted county officials to remove the outdoor burning injunction for the time being.
