    About a dozen people gathered upon the courthouse lawn Monday morning to honor the late Roy McSherry by unveiling a memorial plaque. In addition to being a veteran, a cowboy, and a family man, Roy Ellis Mc-Sherry worked 22 years as Menard County Park Supervisor before he passed in 2007 at age 93.
