The recently advertised FREE city-wide cleanup and FREE landfill and brush pit in the Menard News was NOT available to those who were unable to get to the landfill on Friday. When I showed up Saturday morning around 9am there were 5 other vehicles, either coming to or going back from, the landfill with loads that could not be delivered because the gate was closed and locked. To advertise on the front page of the newspaper and then to renege is, in addition to being truly poor management, just plain wrong.
