Local groups ensure Menard veterans are recognized year-round

  • Members of Menard's Sons of Confederate Veterans (SCV) Camp 2326 cleaned the veteran monuments at American Legion Park earlier this year.     The stone monuments at American Legion Park are in memory of Menard County veterans from World War 1, World War 2, Korea, and Vietnam.The marker, located at the corner of Gay St. and E.
