Carol Hamby Heughan won 1st place in the annual Texas Trophy Hunters Association Magazine Contest earlier this month in the Texas Typical Whitetail (free range) category. The buck was taken with Modern Arms (Ruger 243), low fenced scoring 108.5. It had “exceptional” brow tines measuring 6 and 5 inches.
