MVFD hunt draws 20 teams

    The Menard Volunteer Fire Department’s 4th Annual Predator Calling Contest and Pancake Breakfast took place this weekend and was a fundraising success. Twenty teams with 1-3 members each anted up $200 for the main contest, based on a point system. Side jackpots were $20 per predator category. Hunting began at noon Saturday.
