By Paige Wright The 2024 edition of the annual Menard County Youth and Livestock Show featured a notable addition—horses. Two halter classes, one for mares and one for geldings, were held as the opening affair at the Friday show in December. Horse shows are not uncommon; however, they are not often found at a market animal show.
