The Menard County Chamber of Commerce’s fifth annual Jim Bowie Day Cook-off and River Rat Music Festival was one for the record books. The Saturday, June 13 event attracted 33 cooking teams, 37 vendors, and 39 VIP tables for the headliners, Texas country music legends Cory Morrow and Pat Green.
