It’s that time of year again. The walnut caterpillars are feeding on our pecan trees. Look up… Right now Walnut Caterpillars are beginning their damage on household pecan trees all over town. Walnut caterpillar moths deposit masses of 500 or more eggs on the undersides of leaves. The masses are round, hairless and about the size of a half dollar. The eggs hatch in about 10 days.
