Yellowjackets run fast and jump far at area meet
ABOVE- Senior Addy Bannowsky, left on the podium, took silver in the 300 M Hurdles at the area meet. Finishing first was Emily Jackson of Bronte. Menard High School track and field advanced 2 individuals and a relay team from the area meet held last week in Mertzon.
Senior Addy Bannowsky placed 2nd in the 300 M Hurdles (51.7 seconds) and senior Isaiah Stanislawski claimed the silver medal with a long jump of 19’3.75”. Both students earned the chance to compete at the regional meet next weekend.
