Menard’s Ft. San Saba Mason Lodge #784 will soon celebrate a milestone anniversary with an open house/reception on Saturday, December 4, 2021.
The reception will take place at the Lodge, 108 Callan Street, from noon until 3:00 p.m.
All are invited to celebrate the 125th anniversary, look around the lodge, and learn more about the organization.
Sausage wraps, cookies, and other refreshments will be provided.
“The Lodge has so much history, so many of your grandfathers and relatives you may not even know belonged here,” said Brother John Compton of Ft. San Saba Masonic Lodge.
The Masonic Lodge is a fraternal, non-profit organization that must be chartered by the Grand Lodge.
Lodges are organizational units of Freemasonry. The main principles of Freemasonry insist that each member show tolerance, respect and kindness in his actions toward others; practices charity and care for the community as a whole; and strives to achieve high moral standards in his own personal life.
The goal of the local Masons are to raise awareness of the organization and help their community. Lodge #784 has participated in several recent community fundraisers and events, and hopes to build back their presence in the community.
