Bishop Michael J. Sis of the Diocese of San Angelo has appointed the Reverend Mark J. Woodruff the new pastor of Sacred Heart Catholic Church here in Menard. Father Woodruff replaces the Reverend Innocent Eziefule who was recently assigned to St. Frances Catholic Church in Abilene. Father Woodruff celebrated his first Mass in Menard on Sunday, May 1, 2022.
