As a free service to the community, Menard 4-H has been collecting dry, empty paper feed sacks for recycling.
With a consistent burn ban, these feed sacks are piling up fast for ranchers. The collected sacks will go to a recycling plant in San Angelo.
The last chance to drop off your feedsacks is Monday, June 27, from 8-10 a.m. under the shade tree at the Murchison/Whitehead Youth Complex (4-H barn).
