Award winning authors Gail Kittleson and Lynn Dean spoke at the Menard Public Library on September 29, to promote their new book which is now for sale at the library.
The book, written in collaboration with popular “Hindsights” columnist Michael Barr and debut authors Gina Lister and Shannon McFarland, is set in various Texas Hill Country locales and offers heartwarming regional tales tuned to Texas history and the Christmas message. History comes alive through stories that embrace the diverse cultures of the Hill Country in various hardscrabble seasons of life and death, humor and sadness, heartache and romance, the blessings of Christmas and the triumph of the human spirit.
