High speed chase leads to property damage and 'bail out'

COLATERAL DAMAGE- The gate shown above was damaged during a high speed chase east bound on 190 towards Brady, following an attempted traffic stop. The vehicle in question, black GMC pick up, is suspected to be a part of a human smuggling operation. The driver turned north bound in to a private drive about 8 miles out of Menard, off of HWY 190, and plowed through the gate (above), in an effort to evade arrest. The vehicle was later found abandoned on private ranch land. A search was conducted of the area, but the driver and an unknown number of occupants were not found.
