By Paige Wright The Menard Volunteer Fire Department held their Annual Calling Contest & Pancake Breakfast this weekend. A record twenty-six teams participated in the calling contest taking place Saturday starting at 2:00 p.m. with animal weigh-in at 8:00 a.m. Sunday morning. Breakfast was served for $10 a plate at the fire station from 7:00 until 10:00 Sunday morning.
