As of Monday morning, Menard County is under an outdoor burn ban. In a regularly scheduled monthly meeting of the Menard County Commissioners, the court found that circumstances present in all or part of the unincorporated area of the county create a public safety hazard that would be exacerbated by outdoor burning, according to the order adopted on Monday, March 6.
