Horse Club strengthens skills, qualifies one to state show

    Texas A&M students Callie Goins and Owen Dabney spent some time in Menard recently hosting one of the university’s 2-day summer horsemanship camps.

    Spearheaded by Menard County 4-H Horse Club’s founder and adult leader Kimberly Powell, 5 club members participated in riding sessions to aid in the development of functional horsemanship skills.
