Sul Ross State University student and native Menardian Chisum Allen recently won the steer roping at the Weatherford College rodeo in Weatherford. Allen was an outstanding 11.2 seconds to win the first go and placed 4th in the second round, earning him the average buckle in memory of Mike Brown. Congratulations, Chisum!
