The Yellowjacket varsity football team lost a third district game last Friday against a consistently solid Irion County squad with a final score of 77-32. Despite the loss, senior Hunter Whitaker was recognized by KSAT TV out of San Angelo as their Collision of the Week for his 2 immediate defensive hits, instantly shutting down the Hornet offensive on those 2 plays.
