Runnin' to regional

  • SEE YA- Freshman Lady Jacket Danni Ruiz, pictured left at the Blanket Tiger Relays earlier this season, often ran the 800m at invitational meets with the boys division. Her time applied to the girls race, but running with the boys helped her keep a more consistent, competitive pace.     Robert Lee High School played host the 2024 1A District 11 & 12 Area Track & Field meet last week. Athletes qualified to compete by placing in the top 4 in each event from their district meets. From area, the top 4 in each event advanced to the 1A Region 2 meet to be held this weekend in San Angelo. Menard qualified 5 tracksters to the regional level.The leader of Menard advancer...
