Shannon AirMed, pictured above, was able to land safely at the Ft. McKavett Volunteer Fire Department helipad to receive a critical patient from the local EMS. The helipad was paid for by generous donations from the community. Without those donations, the transfer would not have been possible, costing critical time in the emergency situation.
