Jim Bowie rides again, this time with a large pack of river rats

Chamber's 3rd annual event combines traditional elements of the beloved Jim Bowie Days with the new musical facet of the River Rat Festival

    The board of directors and volunteers for the Menard County Chamber of Commerce are breathing a bit easier this week after their third annual River Rat Festival and tenth annual Jim Bowie Day Cookoff was safely and successfully held as scheduled over the weekend.
