It was a sunny Tuesday afternoon this week when a pickup pulling a camping trailer unhitched from the vehicle and flipped onto its side. Preliminary consideration suggests the rig was traveling too fast downhill on SH 29 about 6 miles east of Menard. The vehicle and its two occupants were unharmed. Traffic was briefly interrupted only when the tow truck loaded the trailer. MCSO photo.
