BELOW-Menard Volunteer Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire early Tuesday afternoon. The occupants were passing through Menard when the fire broke out. The driver immediately pulled over and dialed 911. MVFD responded promptly and was able to successfully extinguish the fire. The car was a loss but there were no injuries. Photo by MCSO.
