Menard County SWCD to host local winners of area essay contest and Menard County producers interested in NRCS EQUIP program

On May 5, 2026, Menard County SWCD will host three Area II essays winners from Menard JH and HS. Caitlyn Burch (7th grader), Aliah Saiz (senior), and Ezekiel Hernander (senior) were all winners in not only the Menard County District Contest, but placed, respectively 1st in junior division, 3rd in senior division, and 1st in senior division.
