Farmers Market has good first week; is ready for the summer season

    Submitted by Mary Kniffen The grand opening of the 2026 season of the Menard Texas Farmers Market was a great success at the American Legion Park in Menard. Sixteen vendors lined the sidewalks with a wide variety of items; food, jewelry, body care, plants, and much more. There was a steady stream of shoppers all evening.
