Good news for Menard County veterans who will soon have a fully accredited Veterans Service Officer to serve them directly. Gary Cheek, an eight-year Army veteran with combat service in Iraq, is the V e t erans Service Officer ( VSO) for Menard County. Following TVC training he will move on to VA involvement which will allow more efficient submissions of veteran care.
