The wait is over; Bird City Menard mascot announced this weekend
The community’s votes have been tallied; the announcement has been made. The official mascot for Bird City Menard (BCM) is… the iconic Greater Roadrunner.
As announced Saturday prior to the Chamber of Commerce’s River Rat Picnic, the Greater Roadrunner beat out a competitive field of feathered critters including the Black-Chinned Hummingbird, Northern Bobwhite and Scissor-Tailed Flycatcher.
