The United State Postal Service (USPS) has announced a rate increase effective July 12, 2026.
Affecting most residents is the First-Class Mail Forever Stamp, currently at $0.78, which will jump to $0.82. Once Forever Stamps are purchased, they can be used for First-Class mail indefinitely, so stock up before the next increase. Other classes of mail and packages will be modified as well.
