    The Jackets opened the 2026 six-man football season Thursday, Aug. 27, with a dominating 60-0 home win over the Bronte Longhorns, ending at the half per the 45-point mercy rule. The win gives Menard a 1-0 start following an impressive 2025 season in which the Yellowjackets finished 11-1 and advanced to the second round of the playoffs.
