Rain and lightning cut short the Jackets' Friday night

Last Friday the Menard Yellowjackets arrived in Blanket amid scattered thunderstorms. The game started on time, and the precipitation held off until the second quarter of the game. By that time there was lightning all around and the game was called with no plans to reschedule the remaining time. With 3:38 left in the second quarter, Menard ended the game tied with Blanket 14-14.
