By Haley Anderson, Menard 4-H Coordinator Menard County 4-H was well represented in Sonora on Saturday at their invitational contest. We had two Plant ID teams compete and seven youth compete in the wool and mohair contest.

9-year-old Tuff Singleton racked up the wins at the World Final’s Dummy Roping in fabulous Las Vegas earlier this month. Tuff won two different national ropings while in Vegas.

Tamara Hernandez, says “THANK YOU!” to everyone who donated and stopped by the fish fry and bake sale. “I am truly blessed and so appreciative of everyone who helped make Friday a very successful fundraiser. I am very excited and ready to have a gym to continue to teach tumbling and cheer to the youth of Menard and surrounding towns.”
