Local author's former teachers celebrate her first novel

TMN SPOTTED IN AFRICA- Dave and Delise Rohret did not let a recent trip to Africa get them behind on local news. Menard 4-H kids are selling raffle tickets ($5 each or 6 for $25) to help cover enrollment fees for the new year. The Black Stone Grill (above) generously donated by Higginbothoms, shown with manager Bruce Hough, is up for grabs, as well as $250 in meat raised right here in Menard County. If you can’t find a kid peddling tickets go by the extension office in the Menard Courthouse to get yours today!
