Menard Manor incident provides happy ending despite the potential for mass chaos

At approximately 6:45 p.m. on Saturday, May 21, 2022, the Menard Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to an emergency call for reported “smoke in the hall” at Menard Manor Skilled Nursing Facility, 100 Gay Street in Menard.
